The 3rd Annual Porter Film Fest is coming on Saturday, September 19th!

As we look back at some of our favorite moments from last year's festival, we're already excited for another unforgettable celebration of the life and legacy of Edwin S. Porter, one of the pioneers of silent film.

This year's featured films will be announced soon, and we'll be sharing more details in the coming weeks. Until then, enjoy these highlights from last year's event and mark your calendars!

The Fayette County PA 250 Committee will be posting a daily America’s 250 Trivia Question right here on our page every day at 3:00 PM! 🎉

Each day we’ll share a new question about American history, Pennsylvania history, Fayette County history, famous moments, fun facts, and more as we count down to America’s 250th Birthday.

The answer to each question will be posted the following day in the comments along with the next trivia question.

And remember… no cheating! 😉
Don’t go looking up the answers. This is all just for fun, friendly competition, and a chance for all of us to learn a little more about the history that helped shape our country and our community.
