NEW FOR 2026: TOP FOX SHOOTOUT
at Mooresville Dragway in partnership with Neomustangs Foxbody Restoration & Foxcast Media
We’ve got some damn good Fox people helping us bring the first Top Fox Shootout to life.
Dan from NeoMustangs brings the hands-on racing and performance side. He builds them, races them, breaks them, fixes them, and knows what it takes to make a Fox go fast.
And Caleb Richards of Foxcast Media is the OG Fox content creator and brings years of involvement in the community, a genuine love for these cars and the people behind them, and a whole lot of energy for what we’re building.
Together, they’re helping us take this idea and turn it into something we hope becomes a really fun part of Foxtoberfest for years to come.
This is year one, so we’re throwing some things at the wall and seeing what sticks. Please pack your patience and flexibility in your tool bag next to your duct tape and zip ties.
Yes, there’s money on the table, but this is still about having fun, racing Foxes, and building community more than anything else.

Top Fox Shootout racers will also need to be registered for the Foxtoberfest car show. We want the cars and racers you see at the track to be part of the greater Fox community too, giving everyone a chance to see the cars up close, meet the drivers, and put faces with the names.
A NOTE ABOUT TRACK CONDITIONS
We’ll be running everything from street cars to outlaw cars on the same surface, so track prep and grip will change throughout the event. Mixing cars at very different performance levels can change the surface quickly, so come prepared to make adjustments as conditions evolve.
We’re keeping this first year fun, flexible, and a little experimental. If you’ve got a Fox and want to come play, this is your shot.
And in keeping with Foxtoberfest’s inclusive spirit, the Top Fox Shootout is open to any vehicle built on the ’78–’93 Fox platform, regardless of what’s under the hood.
