Join us for the 1st Annual Dixon County Fair Quilt Show
July 8–12 in Concord, Nebraska

Help us fill our beautiful new hall with your stunning works of art! Quilters of all ages and skill levels are invited to display their quilts during the Dixon County Fair.

Quilts displayed in the Quilt Show will not be judged unless you choose to also enter them in Open Class competition.

Whether your quilt is antique, traditional, modern, hand-stitched, or machine quilted, we would love to showcase your creativity and craftsmanship for the community to enjoy.

Come be part of this exciting first-year event and help us make the Quilt Show a wonderful tradition at the Dixon County Fair!

The National Moment of Remembrance: By a congressional act, all Americans are encouraged to pause at 3:00 p.m. local time for a minute of silence to honor the fallen.

Dixon County Fair fans — we know you love your Team Penning and Sorting action, and we’re gearing up for another great event. To make it happen, we’re looking for calves and are hoping our community can help us get in contact with the right folks.

The Open Class Fair Books are here, and we’ve got fresh twists you’ll love. Our Arts & Crafts and Photography departments have rolled out exciting updates—new categories, revamped guidelines, and more ways to show off your talent. No matter your creativeness; there’s a place for your masterpiece on the judging table.

Bring the bold. Bring the unexpected. Bring the thing you’ve been perfecting at midnight. Blue ribbons, bragging rights, and a whole lot of hometown glory are up for grabs.

Flip through the 2026 Open Class Fair Books, circle your categories, and start creating. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the fair—surprise us!

UNL Extension & 4-H - Dixon County is hosting a babysitters clinic on Fri 5/22. (Sign up by 5/18 at the phone number on the flyer.) They will learn tons of information on how to babysit, start to earn some $$, and give a much needed night out for us parents wanting a little break from our rays of sunshine!

Can you believe it? We’re only 9½ weeks away from the fair!
School is almost out, summer ball is gearing up, and fair projects are about to take over kitchen tables, barns, and shops everywhere. It’s the perfect time to kick off summer break by grabbing your discounted fair passes at local businesses.

Starting next week, fair passes will be available for just $40.00 through July 6th at these locations:
