Alright guys I need to play the promoter role here and I hope everyone reading this takes what I have to say into consideration.

We finished our season out last Saturday at MRP. To say we had some out of our control issues is putting it lightly. I personally was effected by some along with you guys and our series as a whole.
How we handle them can make or break us personally and as a group so because of that I waited a couple days to see how the process was going to play out. Why? Because I wanted to be sure and say and or do what is right.

Since Saturday I have had multiple (positive) calls from different people regarding our race. None of them came from current people involved with MRP.
That is disappointing but considering that they are on their way out doesn’t surprise me.

I’m asking a couple things from us all.
1-Close that door and leave the current issues behind. We no longer have any ties with that group. If you need help settling up with something before that can happen. Let me know. I’m sure I can help.

2-You can Sit back and watch the new group make changes and then decide if you like them before your decisions are made but give them a chance. Rome was not built in a day but I’m sure you are going to see changes coming in a positive direction immediately following the takeover.

3- Or support the new team and help become part of the fix by giving them a chance. I personally barely know Tom. We have crossed paths a few times in the last couple years but just briefly.
I have been asking around recently doing my homework and have not heard anything negative about him. Trust me when I say he is fully invested in many ways to make this work for ALL.
Let’s look into how we can have a positive future starting now.

Hope to see you all at the banquet
Thanks
Mike
