Another filmmaker we're showcasing:

Lost Falls Collaborative, a nonprofit indie production company which strives to bring experiences and education in film to rural and underserved communities, was founded by K.S. Brooks in Chewelah in 2023.

Since then, Lost Falls, through its By The Brooks Motion Pictures label, has produced more than 10 short films and has twice garnered the coveted "Slammy" from the Spokane-area 50-Hour Slam competition.
Their production "Lavender Space," spoofing Taylor Swift's Lavender Haze, has won laurels from 8 film festivals including the Washington Film Awards. Lost Falls has recently filmed two projects in rural Idaho and has more planned in NE Washington in 2026.
