This is the Fall Chicken Coop Retreat that Yvonne, Jenny and I, Arlene, just staged for our guild Pacific Flyway Quilters in Colusa. Quilters from three states spent three days sewing, talking, laughing, eating and making new friends. Thanks ladies for making it such a fun, bonding time.

Here are the ladies that volunteered to be my judging crew for the day. They held up quilts and turned to quilts and folded and stacked quilts for 7 1/2 hours. And one lady wrote down all of the comments that I made for each quilt. You did a beautiful job ladies. You were so much fun to work with. Loved being with you today up in Yreka!

I had the pleasure of judging the quilts at the Siskiyou County fair this week. If you would like to see a wide range of beautiful quilts made so well it was a very difficult judging, which makes the day fun for me, get in your car and drive to Yreka. It’s well worth it. The display is gorgeous.!
