Wow! What an incredible Sunday in the Park! Arts in the Park 2026 had more art, more music, more creativity, and a lot more people enjoying every bit of it!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This year solidified Arts in the Park's return as a much-anticipated and well-attended annual event celebrating the vibrant local arts community in Columbus.

In 2025, we were just four neighbors on a mission to bring back a beloved community event. In 2026, the same four neighbors remain on a mission to keep this beloved event going and growing for everyone in the community to attend.

There is a village of people beyond the four of us who play a big part in making Arts in the Park the incredible event it has evolved into. We are forever grateful for the partnerships, collaborations, and people who made Arts in the Park 2026 so successful!

Thank you so much (massive understatement) to The Columbusite and Carrie Beth Wallace for her endless support of the arts community here in Columbus. She continues to be an amazing cheerleader and a brilliant partner!

MidTown Columbus Georgia remains one of our biggest cheerleaders and supports us behind the scenes as the event’s parent organization — Thank you for the many ways you support this event!

A big shoutout to Street Food Saturdays and Jaime, who made coordinating the food trucks a breeze! Thank you to all our food vendors for serving up your best dishes and keeping the crowds well fed!

Donna Bedenbaugh Dooley is a shining star and manages the bands and performers for our live music stages. She is a vital part of our committee, and we are so thankful for her expertise and willingness to create a great afternoon of live entertainment!

Thank you to Columbus Cultural Arts Alliance organizations for creating programming year-round that makes Columbus, Georgia, a city of the arts. You are the heartbeat of the arts and culture scene, and we love to feature you at Arts in the Park!

We are so grateful and honored to have Rich Godrey generously offer the use of his artwork, “Lakebottom Park,” as our featured festival art this year. Rich’s kindness and support mean so much to us.

To the talented Columbus artists who treated us to plein air painting demonstrations — thank you for sharing your creative process and Sunday afternoon with us!

Thank you to Highland Gallery for sponsoring the Art Department at Columbus State University Tent. We loved seeing the number of artists grow from last year.

We were blown away by the incredible artwork in the MCSD Art Show. Thank you to Virginia McCullough and the school district for joining us this year and putting together a fabulous art show!

To all of the vendors that participated, thank you for choosing to be part of Arts in the Park. We are amazed by your talents and enthusiasm for the event. There are lots of festivals this time of year, and it means so much to us for you to choose our Art Festival!

Thank you to all of our live entertainment, demonstrators, and music groups for sharing your incredible talent and skill. We were wonderfully entertained throughout the park all afternoon.

Columbus ParksandRecreation was a new partner this year, and we are very thankful for their support and the fun additions to the afternoon activities.

And finally, thank you to Mayor Skip Henderson for your continued support of the arts and the month-long ArtsFest celebration. We are overjoyed to be part of ArtsFest as the closing community-wide festival and celebration of our vibrant and growing local art community.

We can't wait to see you again next year!
