School Days at the Faire are reserved exclusively for school and student groups as an extension of our annual festival. Here at the New Jersey Renaissance Faire lies the crossroads where fantasy meets reality. The interactive experience of the Faire brings history, literature and arts curriculum to life for K-12 students. About the New Jersey Renaissance Faire:
New Jersey Renaissance Faire, LLC wa

s founded in 2009 by Phillip Leipf, T.J. Miller, Andy Pritikin and John Williams, who believe in the magic of history and fantasy to entertain and provide memorable experiences for all ages. Together they conceived the fictitious village of Crossford, where fantasy meets reality, and audiences visited for the first annual New Jersey Renaissance Faire in 2010. Jason Klein joined the partnership in 2011 bringing his unique experience from the merchant side of things. The Faire now takes place annually. Located on 60 beautiful, wooded acres in Mansfield Township, with the magnificent seven-acre Liberty Lake as its centerpiece. A day at the New Jersey Renaissance Faire offers fun for all ages, with six stages of ongoing entertainment, interaction with historical characters, jousts, a human chess match, a huge selection of variety performers (the likes of juggling, sword swallowing, fire breathing, and aerial arts), music, Shakespeare, artisans, merchants, food and more.

** SEASON 14 STORYLINE ANNOUNCEMENT **

Our cast has been picked, scripts are being penned, and soon the gates of Crossford will open once more! That means it is time to reveal this year's storyline!

Return to 1570 AD in Crossford, as King Arthur's nephew Gawain is en route to the Green Chapel. He has played a very dangerous game with the infamous Green Knight - a game destined to conclude at the sharp end of an axe. However, when Gawain inadvertently ends up in Crossford alongside new foes and old friends, he faces an unexpected choice. Will he remain safe outside of time and avoid a grisly fate? Will he discover what knightly honors and continue to uphold his promise to the Green Knight?

Meet us in Crossford the last two weekends of May and the first weekend of June and find out!

This weekend is our annual CAST AUDITIONS for the 2023 New Jersey Renaissance Faire season! There are still audition time slots available on both Saturday and Sunday, but they are filling up quickly. Due to low attendance numbers, our Friday School Day (May 24) has been cancelled. However, we still do have spaces open for Thursday, May 23!

These spaces are available to any school groups and home-school students. We reserve our entire faire ground for students to explore and interact with our cast of historical characters, enjoy educational and exciting shows, and purchase food and gifts from our wide variety of merchants and vendors.
