America Barely Appreciated the Dodge Magnum.
The Dodge Magnum SRT-8 took the family wagon formula and gave it proper Mopar muscle.
Under the hood sat a 6.1-liter Hemi V8 producing 425 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, sending power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic.
Built during the Magnum’s short 2005–2008 run, the SRT-8 combined serious straight-line performance with the space and practicality of a full-size wagon.
Today, average values sit around $25,000, making it far more attainable than other high-performance American wagons like the Cadillac CTS-V.
A rear-wheel-drive Hemi wagon with 425 hp was unusual when new. It looks even more special today.
