Midtown Classic 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Midtown Classic 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Every year since 2007, on the 3rd or 4th Saturday in April, the Annual Midtown Classic 5K Run and One Mile Fun Run is held. The 5K Race begins at 9:00 am.

The 1 Mile Run begins at 8:00 am and the 5K Race at 9:00. On Saturday, April 23, 2016 Wynnton UMC will sponsor and host the 10th Annual Midtown Classic 5K Run and One Mile Fun Run. The One Mile Fun Run (or walk!) begins at 8:00 am. Wynnton UMC is proud to reside in and support the midtown area in all it’s beauty and charm. The race course will begin at Wynnton UMC and run through the Lakebottom area and then return to the Wynnton UMC site.

Due to the nature of all things Covid-19 and the way we like to put on our race, the committee has decided with heavy hearts that we must once again postpone the Midtown Classic.
If we can’t go 💯 with our wonderful, signature food spread and have our 30+ door prize giveaways (which promotes close gathering), it just won’t be the same. There are many other obstacles as well.
