Columbus 10K Join us on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, for our in-person event, or our virtual 10K that will run 6/1/26-6/7/26 Come out and enjoy the oldest road race in Columbus.

The 10K provides a tour of historic Columbus neighborhoods, our vibrant downtown, and riverfront vistas. Whether you are looking for a fitness challenge, a new PR, or simply get out the door for some exercise we encourage you and your family to come down and enjoy the day with us!

There’s something really fun about race morning downtown.

The city is just starting to wake up, music is playing, volunteers are getting set, people are pinning bibs in parking garages, and warming up along the Scioto Mile.

Then all at once, thousands of runners head out through the middle of Columbus together.

Less than two weeks to go.

At this point, the work is mostly done. Now it’s about staying consistent, staying healthy, and starting to picture your race day.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll share more reminders, race weekend details, and things to know before June 7, but today is a good day to pause for a second and realize: you’re almost there.

Columbus shows up for the 10K, and we can’t wait to see the city come alive again on race morning.

One of the best parts of race day is how many people show up to make the morning feel special.

Volunteers, spectators, DJs, cheer stations, friends waiting at the finish line, random strangers yelling your name because it’s printed on your bib. It all adds up.

Downtown Columbus really comes alive for this one, and we can’t wait to do it again in a couple of weeks.

A few places to look forward to on the course 👇

This year, we’ve added even more energy along the route, including cheer stations near COSI, along S High St, and through German Village, plus a new on-course DJ to keep things moving.

The Columbus 10K has always been a course where the neighborhoods and downtown crowd really help carry the day, and we’re excited to build on that even more this year.

If you’ve got friends or family coming to spectate, these are some great spots to post up and cheer people on.

The New Balance Training Tour heads to Nocterra Audubon Run Club on Tuesday, May 19, and we’d love to see you there.

Come out for a relaxed run or walk (about 3 miles), try out some New Balance demo shoes, and spend the evening with a great local running community.

One month from today, we’re back downtown.

The streets, the crowd, the feeling when you turn that last corner and see the finish line… it’s closer than you think.
