Finding Joy in God's Presence

"You make known to me the path of life;
You will fill me with joy in Your presence,
with eternal pleasures at Your right hand."
— Psalm 16:11

Joy isn't found in perfect circumstances.

It's found in the presence of a perfect Savior.

Some seasons overflow with celebration.
Others bring uncertainty, waiting, or heartache.

Yet God never changes.

When life feels heavy, His presence is still near.
When we don't understand the season we're in, He is still leading us.
And when our joy feels distant, He faithfully reminds us that true joy begins with Him.

This week, don't chase happiness.

Draw near to Jesus.

His presence is where lasting joy is found. 💛

One of my favorite things about BLESSED is looking around the room and realizing...

Every woman has a story.

Some stories are filled with joy.
Some are marked by loss.
Some are just beginning.
Some are still unfolding.

We may not know what another woman is carrying when she walks through the doors, but God does.

That's why we gather.

To open His Word.

To encourage one another.

To remind each other that no season is walked alone.

No matter what chapter you're in today, know this:

You are seen.
You are loved.
You are never beyond God's grace.

We can't wait to gather together on October 24 as we celebrate Joy in Every Season. 💛

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

When we think about joy, we often think it depends on our circumstances.

"I'll have joy when..."

Life slows down.
My prayers are answered.
Things get easier.

But Scripture paints a different picture.

Biblical joy isn't something we wait to feel.
It's something we choose because of who God is.

No matter what season you're walking through today, God's goodness hasn't changed.

His promises haven't changed.

His love for you hasn't changed.

And that's where lasting joy begins.

"The joy of the Lord is your strength."
Nehemiah 8:10

One of the greatest blessings of BLESSED isn't just the speakers or the shopping...

It's the women.

Women encouraging women.

Women praying with one another.

Women laughing together.

Women reminding each other that no one has to walk through life's seasons alone.

God created us for community, and there is something incredibly special about gathering with women who point one another to Christ.

Whether you come with a friend or walk through the doors by yourself, our prayer is that you'll leave with new friendships, renewed hope, and a heart encouraged by God's Word.

Joy That Cannot Be Taken Away

"Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."
John 16:24

Devotion

Happiness comes and goes.

It changes with our circumstances, our health, our relationships, and even the kind of day we're having.

But Jesus offers us something deeper.

He offers joy.

A joy that isn't dependent on everything going right.

A joy that remains because it is rooted in Him.

The women who come to BLESSED this October will all arrive with different stories. Some will be celebrating answered prayers. Others will be carrying burdens no one else can see.

Yet every woman is invited to the same place—to the feet of Jesus.

His presence is where lasting joy is found.

Not because life is easy.

But because Christ is faithful.

No matter what season you're walking through today, remember that the joy Jesus gives cannot be taken away by difficult circumstances.

This week, let's pray for the women who haven't been invited...yet.

There may be a friend...
A coworker...
A sister...
A neighbor...
Or someone sitting next to you at church...
..who simply needs someone to say,

"Would you come with me?"

Pray that God would place BLESSED on our hearts and give us the courage to invite someone who needs encouragement, fellowship, and the hope found in Christ.

You never know how one invitation could change someone's life.

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up..."
1 Thessalonians 5:11
