Wow! It was an amazing night at the Fright Top Scary Circus! SO MANY people came out. Final ticket count at nights end was 218. We do not have a weight on donations of food yet, because we are still taking donations on the porch until 1pm when the Central Missouri Food Bank shows up to take their bins. I will post that in the comments here later. But the line was almost to our front yard and the street for a couple hours straight last night. The wait was never more than 30 minutes though, which is actually ok for that size of crowd. Despite being short handed on staff unexpectedly, we really had everyone step up and nail it all quite nicely. I cannot thank my friends and family enough though, it is truly a group effort to pull something like this off, and definitely at this scale. For a backyard haunt, I think the pro's would be impressed. We have some great footage of the event and will have it cut up into a video soon. I am honestly impressed that so many of our family members and friends see the dedication we put towards this, and they match it to help... just whoa! Because our dedication is crazy, and to see others get on that level is unreal.
I just watched someone pull up in front and bring a full bag of groceries to the donation bin on the front porch and drop it off, amazing!
It is something that we will take with us forever, watching people get so much joy from something we have fun doing. And being a charity event that helps the community, Thank you to all who came, who donated, and who worked, and who built things. It took all of you and was well worth it! Thank you!
