Woody is putting the final touches on the 2024 Redeye Bogey. He is building a data base and the info will come by means of your email address and not by way of the USPS! There are TEST emails sent to some of you today, if you got it then be patient, more will follow. If you talk to anyone who does not get anything by end of weekend, they need to contact Woody and make sure he has your current email address. Gonna take a few days to get everything caught up and downloaded in the new format, so once again be patient! Woody runs a business and that pays his bills! If I can help anyone in anyway contact me, I will be glad to help anyway I can. I can tell you Woody has put together another good one on his first attempt at this, I look forward to seeing everyone in June on the other side of the Waccamaw River!

2024 has arrived, those that are unaware 2023 was my 23rd and the final Redeye Bogey with me in charge and what a ride it was! All was turned over to Woody Avant to take the bull by its horns, hold on tight and go with it! Last I heard Woody was planning to go completely digital, so I guess that would mean he will need everyone’s contact information. I turned over to him probably 90% plus of your information already but if you are not sure I had it, you may want to contact him and make sure! I will still be attending as long as I am physically able so I will continue to see you all and if Woody needs anything that I could possibly help him with I am always available (especially since I retired from work 2 weeks ago). Hope 2024 is going to be a great year for all and I hope to see you all real soon, love you all!

21 years are done and so am I! It has truly been a honor leading this group of the greatest friends a man could ask for! The memories will last forever, the laughter, the stories and the golf! Now I can attend as just one of the guys, can’t wait for 2024! Where is my box?

Next week each days numbers will be set at a final count that is divisible by four. This means tee times and villas will be released. If your plans are to attend this June you better let Robbie know! There will be no getting tee times and villas back after next Friday!!!! Spread the word

To all the Dimpleballs out there! Seeing I am under house arrest after yesterday’s surgery through the weekend my plans are to get the 2023 letters in the mail by the first of the week! Be on the lookout and let me know if you do not receive yours or you know someone that is interested in attending by next weekend so I can get one out to you or others! This is the 33rd annual, pricing is pretty much the same as the past few years and we have been given a free meal and a few free drinks each day at each course. Can’t wait, it should be another epic trip in early June! Love you all and hoping to see you all soon!

Happy holidays Dimpleballs! Hope you guys are having a joyous season! The 2023 Redeye Bogey is booked and set, mail outs are being put together and will be in the mail by mid January! Because of pricing and crowding of courses we will play a couple of different venues this year. We will start on Thursday, 6/8 at The River Club in Pawley’s Island, return to The Tradition on Friday 6/9 and finish on Saturday 6/10 with a long awaited return to Pawley’s Plantation. All three days come with lunch, two free drink tickets, range balls (sorry, no range at the River Club) and a free lunch! Accommodations will once again be at Litchfield by the Sea! Package prices are pretty much the same as the last few years! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, be on the lookout for the 2023 mail outs, follow instructions, fill out those forms and mail them in! Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you all!

2023 is in the planning mode right now, dates look like a return to the second weekend in June once again but not 100% locked in and the location is still being worked on. The Pawley’s area, North Myrtle and Pinehurst are all being looked at. Pricing of these areas is still not complete for 2023 and the aeration schedules will come into play also! Will work up what we feel will be another classic event and will let you all know when it is set!

A very Happy 2022 to you all! 130 Redeye Bogey letters and registration forms will be mailed out first of week, no deposits are needed but “payments in full” need to be send by early May if you are planning on attending this year! We are booked for 72 once again, that is about all we can handle!!! Please remember, we had 72 paid in full by the end of April last year, don’t drag your rear or chances are you will be sitting at home the second weekend in June! Please COMPLETE the registration forms, please follow directions, place in return envelope and return to address on the envelope OR send picture of completed registration form, text to me and VENMO me your payment! Thanks guys!
