Just a reminder and a little house keeping.
I share all the events I'm aware of on my wall.
If it's available, I also add the event to https://www.facebook.com/MidMOPetCalendar/events
I update this page every Saturday, usually before 10:00 a.m.
I give priority to events hosted by non-profits or where money is being raised for a non-profit.
I do not list sales for retailers unless some of the proceeds are going to a non-profit.
Because there are usually so many adoption events, I haven't listed them in the past, but I'm going to try listing them and see how it goes.
There are exceptions to all these rules and I have the final say.

A central location to view all the pet events (not just dogs) in and around Columbia, Missouri that are open to the general public. All events must be approved by the admin to be added to the calendar.

Spam and phishing will be deleted and blocked.

A big shout out to Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue for winning Best Non-Profit and Lizzi & Rocco's Natural Pet Market for winning Best Pet Care in 2026 Best of Columbia. I've known Melody and Jesse and Kyle for years and the recognition could not have gone to more deserving people. And, they make regular appearances on the Mid-Mo Pet Calendar with lots of fun events for pet owners.
