The Zipper is based in Columbia, MO and was founded in 2022 by three local women who share a passion for creative expression, live music, and human connection. The Zipper festival was designed to both celebrate our community and create a space for people to connect through art, music, food and drinks, and innovation. The Zipper brings together creators, makers, artisans, and performers with people

across mid-Missouri to experience unique art installations, explore the talents of local artists and crafters, enjoy local food and cocktails, and meet and mingle with neighbors.

Vendor applications are now open for the 4th annual Zipper Fest. In previous years, approximately 3000 people attended. The festival is located in Columbia, MO and will take place on September 12th from 1-7pm. We are looking for crafters and artists, food trucks, and performers. We can’t thank you all enough for another great Zipper Fest! It felt like we were hanging out on the surface of the sun but we were doing it with friends! Thank you to our generous sponsors, talented vendors and performers, visionary artists, hard working volunteers, and the most engaged community. The Zipper Team couldn’t love you all more. It's Zipper Day! We can't wait to celebrate with everyone today. Don't forget to stop by the Zipper Merch tent and buy your passport. In case you missed our first post about the passports, here is the information again:

We're spicing up the Zipper Fest with our new Passports designed by . Travel around the festival, engage, and get your passport stamped for a chance to win two awesome baskets filled with Columbia's best goodies. Passports are $5 and only available for purchase at the festival between noon and 5pm. Once you get your passport stamped, turn in your passport where you purchased it and you'll be entered to win one of these two awesome baskets. Winners will be announced at 6pm but you don't need to be present to win. AND, the first 50 people to purchase a passport get a free Chico bag. Thank you to for creating these beautiful baskets! Saturday will be BUSY! As you plan you transportation to the Zipper Fest, consider biking or walking if you're able. Columbia's public transit system has buses running from 10-6pm on Saturday. If those options don't work, consider carpooling with your friends. If you do decide to drive, please respect the local businesses and find street parking rather than using their lots. We appreciate everyone helping to make the Zipper Festival a success!
