Maryland Summer Music Festival Set in the heart of Maryland, the festival creates a space where audiences can experience the power of live music in an intimate and vibrant concert setting.

The Maryland Summer Music Festival, also known as "the sound of the summer," brings music lovers together for an unforgettable celebration of live performance, culture, and community. Launching in 2026, the Maryland Summer Music Festival was created to showcase extraordinary musicians while creating a shared cultural experience for audiences who value the community and economic development live music brings to Maryland. From nationally recognized artists to exceptional emerging talent, the festival highlights the richness and diversity of the musical landscape. What makes the Maryland Summer Music Festival special is the spirit of community behind it. The festival is made possible through the dedication of volunteers, partners, and supporters who work together to bring the event to life. At its core, the Maryland Summer Music Festival is bigger than a concert. It is a gathering of people who share a love for live music and the moments it creates. Each year, the festival will continue to build on that vision; bringing together artists, audiences, and community to celebrate the sound of summer in Maryland.

Bringing the inaugural Maryland Summer Music Festival to Howard County was a major milestone. Having Howard County Executive Dr. Calvin Ball and Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates Joseline Peña-Melnyk in attendance was an honor.

What a powerful way to begin.
