Some artists command attention the moment they step on stage. Eef does it with a red guitar, a powerhouse voice, and decades of blues experience that spans continents.

Originally from the Netherlands, Eef made her way to the United States in 1999 and now calls Colorado home. As the driving force behind Eef and the Blues Express, she has become one of the most respected voices in the regional blues scene, performing at festivals and clubs throughout Colorado and beyond. The band earned recognition as a Memphis International Blues Challenge Semi-Finalist and has been nominated multiple times for Westword's Best Blues Band.

A gifted songwriter, Eef is a two-time Colorado Blues Society Members Choice Award winner for Favorite Songwriter, crafting songs that resonate far beyond the Front Range. Her four independently produced albums have found audiences around the globe, receiving airplay on blues stations from the United States to Europe and beyond.

Over the years, Eef has shared stages and opened for blues heavyweights including Coco Montoya, Samantha Fish, Tommy Castro, Tinsley Ellis, Nick Moss, and Bernard Allison.

Whether she's fronting a full band, performing solo at a local farmers market, or bringing her talents to the all-female project Divas on Fire, Eef delivers authentic blues with heart, grit, and soul.

Jessica is a powerhouse lead vocalist and songwriter for local award winning band Mojomama. She has co- written 7 original albums along with her husband, Paul Rogalski bassist and manager of the band since 2003. Together they own Mojos Music Academy where she heads the vocal department, inspiring others to sing . Jessica has been stirring up the Colorado music scene, taking home awards and accolades along the way. Colorado blues society has awarded her Favorite Female Vocalist Members Choice Award in 2015, 2018, 2025, and 2026 Tie with fellow Groove Goddess, Cass Clayton!

Jessica’s vocal performance style is a blend of technical skill with a soulful authentic delivery. Perfect mix of Donna Summer meets Susan Tedeschi with a splash of Janis!

GOLD HILL MESA ANNOUNCES CONCERT SCHEDULE
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – April 29, 2026
Gold Hill Mesa continues its tradition of the summer concert series with a big announcement. In addition to the traditional free, late afternoon/evening concerts, there will also be two multi-act
music festivals that are also free! As usual, there will be food trucks and adult beverages for
purchase at all events. All concerts take place on Saturdays.
The schedule is an eclectic blend sure to please all concert attendees.

June 13, 4pm to 7pm – GROOVE GODDESS, a powerhouse All-Star All Female R&B,
soul, funk, “super-group”. The band features nine seasoned female members from
popular Colorado bands who play, sing, and groove to classic songs we all love.

July 18, 4pm to 7pm – FUNKOLOGY is the ultimate dance party and entertainment
band consisting of professional, highly trained musicians with years of experience.

Aug. 15 4pm to 7pm – PEAK BIG BAND Under the direction of Dan Bell, this 18
piece Peak Big Band blends classic swing with modern jazz energy with dynamic
charts, tight grooves, and powerhouse performances.

Sept. 5, 4pm to 7pm SOAPDISH delivers an exciting and lively show of ceaseless,
high energy dance music by melding the sounds of power-pop and rock music
spanning the 80s to today.

Sept.12, Noon to 6:30 pm – BOOTS ON THE MESA is a music festival featuring
three of the top Country Music bands from Colorado.(• Ryan Chrys & the Rough
Cuts • Ashlee and the Longshot Revival • The Jason Wulf Band).

Sept.19, 4pm to 7pm – THE TONY LUKE BAND delivers a soul-stirring, passion-
driven musical sound stretching from gritty, classic blues, rhythm & blues, funk,
rockabilly and jump!

Sept. 26, noon to 6:30 pm ROCK’N ON THE MESA is the second three band music
festival and final concert of the season. It features STEELY DEAD, ZEPPELIN
ALIVE and GRIZZLY GOPHER.

Continuing their relationship with Gold Hill Mesa, A Music Company Inc. is producing the
concert season once again, under the devoted leadership of Amy Whitesell.
It is recommended that attendees bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
