What an incredible weekend at the 27th Annual 5 in 1 High Altitude Ride!

To everyone who joined us, thank you for choosing to spend your weekend with the Pikes Peak H.O.G. Chapter. Whether you traveled across the country or just across town, we truly appreciate you being part of this special event.

We hope you enjoyed the beautiful Colorado roads, made new friends, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

We're just about ready for the 2026 5 in 1 High Altitude Ride, and we can't wait to see everyone this weekend!

Meet at Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson at 8:30 AM for the rider briefing. Kickstands up at 9:00 AM! Everyone is welcome to join us.

💧 Hydrate! Start drinking plenty of water now. Between the altitude, sunshine, and a full day of riding, staying hydrated is one of the best things you can do.

🥪 Bring a lunch or plan to purchase something at one of our gas stops. Because of the length of this year's route, our stops will be brief to help keep everyone on schedule.

🏍️ 5 in 1 Countdown: Tennessee Pass — 10,424 Feet
As we count down to the Pikes Peak 5 in 1 on July 18th, let's spotlight the third of our five legendary passes: Tennessee Pass, near Leadville, Colorado.
This historic corridor played a major role in Colorado's mining boom of the late 1800s, connecting the Arkansas River Valley to mining operations throughout the central Rockies. But it's not just a mining story — just north of the pass sits Camp Hale, where the famed 10th Mountain Division trained during WWII before heading off to fight in the mountains of Europe.
Today, riders get to follow in that same rugged terrain — trading history for high-altitude thrills as we crest 10,424 feet on two wheels.

🔥 5 in 1 Ride Update 🔥

Like many of you, we've been watching the Colorado wildfires closely. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, as well as the firefighters and first responders working tirelessly to protect our communities and our beautiful state.

At this time, the 5 in 1 Ride route is NOT expected to be impacted by the fires. However, out of an abundance of caution, we will be changing the Bonus Ride destination to Bishop Castle.

As we get closer to the event, we'll continue to monitor conditions and share any additional updates if needed.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. Most importantly, please keep everyone affected by these fires in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️

🏔️ 5 in 1 High Altitude Ride – Juniper Pass
Elevation: 11,018 Feet

One of the first mountain passes you'll experience during the 5 in 1 Ride is Juniper Pass, perched at an impressive 11,018 feet along the scenic route to Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway.

Named for the resilient Rocky Mountain juniper trees that cling to life in this rugged alpine environment, Juniper Pass offers a glimpse into Colorado's high country. As you climb, you'll leave the dense forests behind and emerge above the tree line, where sweeping mountain vistas stretch in every direction.

Keep your eyes open—you may spot bighorn sheep, mountain goats, marmots, or even the tiny pika among the rocks. Every mile brings a new view, making this one of those stretches of road you'll be talking about long after the ride is over.

This is just the beginning of an unforgettable journey across five iconic Colorado mountain passes. We can't wait to share it with you!

🏔️ 5 in 1 Mountain Pass Spotlight: Vail Pass

When you crest Vail Pass at 10,662 feet, you'll be riding across one of Colorado's most spectacular mountain crossings.

As the road climbs higher, you'll leave Eagle County behind and enter Summit County, surrounded by breathtaking views of the rugged Gore Range. It's easy to understand why this stretch of road has become a favorite for riders from around the world.

Long before Interstate 70, Native Americans and early explorers traveled through these mountains, finding routes across the Continental Divide. Today, you'll experience that same incredible landscape from one of Colorado's greatest engineering achievements.

This isn't just another highway. It's a ride filled with sweeping curves, crisp mountain air, and unforgettable scenery.

👕 Quick 5 in 1 Shirt Reminder! 👕

Just a friendly reminder that June 28th is the last day to order your 2026 5 in 1 shirt with your online registration.

Registration for the event will remain open after June 28th, so there's still plenty of time to sign up for the ride. However, shirt orders have to be finalized, and there will be very few extra shirts available at the event.

If having an event shirt is important to you, I'd encourage you to get registered before the 28th so you can reserve yours and get the size you want.
