As you probably know by now this year's 5-n-1 is starting at Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson in Loveland, CO and we will be heading in to Rocky Mountain National Park to go over our first three passes on Trail Ridge Road (Iceberg Pass, Fall River Pass and Milner Pass). To gain entry into RMNP you will need a National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Annual Pass or you will need to pay an entry fee at the gate. We are going to do our best to get everyone through the entrance to the park by 9:00 am to avoid the need to have a timed entry permit. Due to the uncertainty of how much traffic there will be at the entry and the potential for long lines we highly recommend purchasing a Timed Entry Pass for Saturday, July 19 for the two hour window of 9:00-11:00 am. The cost of the pass is $2.00 and you can purchase it 30 days in advance on-line by visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park website. If you wind up not needed the timed entry pass you are out the $2.00. If you don't have the pass and the lines are long at the gates and you can't get in before 9:00 you will be denied entry into the park and your 5 in 1 ride will be over before it begins.

You can always take your chances and if you are in one of the first few groups to leave the dealership and get in line at the park entrance you should be okay. We are also asking our Road Captains to depart with their groups every 10 minutes instead of 20 minutes this year so we stand a better chance of getting everyone in line and into the park before 9:00 am but there are no guarantees. Again, you cannot purchase a timed entry pass until 30 days prior to the date of your visit but don't wait because there are a limited amount and they go very quickly!
To visit the park, you just need a valid park entrance pass. Purchase (or show) your valid park entrance pass at any of the park's entrance stations. Click here to visit RMNP's Fees & Passes webpage.
