Thank you for a memorable weekend of friendship, generosity, and music!
The 7th Annual Northern Neck Beach Music Festival, held September 13–14 on Town Hill, was a huge success!
This year, the Festival Committee took on the challenge of expanding the event to two days, offering a broader variety of music and experiences. CBCF partnered with the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce, which added a Market Place featuring food and craft vendors as well as local craft breweries, to enhance the festival atmosphere.
Colonial Beach Foundation is especially grateful for the many hands and hearts that made this year’s festival possible:
● Volunteers – More than 100 volunteers each day contributed over 500 hours to ensure the comfort and safety of guests.
● Sponsors – Over 40 sponsors contributed more than $20,000.
● Guests – An average of 400 guests attended each day, enjoying music, food, and fellowship. About 40% traveled from Richmond, Fredericksburg, and across the Northern Neck, showing the festival’s growing regional appeal.
One hundred percent of festival proceeds are invested back into the community through grants, scholarships, camp fees, and more.
Highlights from this year include:
● Together We Thrive Raffle – The $5,000 winner was announced on Sunday. And the real winner is $12,500 added to the CBCF Scholarship Fund.
● 50/50 Raffles – During the two days of the event we raised over $2,500 for the CBCF Camp Fund which sends local kids to 4-H Camp. The winners donated back to the kids.
● Festival earnings – With final numbers still pending, projections show $32,000 raised which is $2,000 over goal. These funds will be distributed during CBCF’s Spring 2026 Grant Cycle.
In total, the impact of raffles and festival proceeds is projected at $45,000 – all benefiting the Colonial Beach community.
