Our Legion membership is at **55.29% of our 2027 goal**, and we’ve met October’s membership target! Thank you to the **94 Legionnaires** already counted for the new membership year.

Next up: **17 more members** to reach November’s target! 💪

We’ve passed October’s membership target, and just **TWO more members** will put us over November’s target early!

Thank you to everyone who has renewed. Every membership helps us serve our veterans, support our youth, and give back to our community.

🚌🇺🇸 **A BIG THANK YOU to our Auxiliary!** 🇺🇸🚌

What a great day on the road Saturday, October 10th!

A special thank you to **Nikki, Wanda, and Toodles** for all the hard work planning and organizing our American Legion bus trip!

We traveled from College Park Post 217 across the Bay to Kent Island Post 278 and Centreville Post 18, then back to Annapolis Posts 141 and 7, finishing up at Silver Spring Post 41.

Great stops, great company, plenty of laughs, and another opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie that makes our American Legion Family so special!

👏 Thank you to everyone who joined us, the Posts that welcomed us, and especially our Auxiliary ladies who made it all happen!

**Here's to more adventures together!** 🇺🇸🍻

Proud to represent Squadron 217 at Wednesday’s Polar Bear Plunge photo shoot at Sandy Point! Holding the Special Olympics torch alongside these amazing athletes was an honor. 🔥💙

As your SAL Commander, I’d love to see our Post 217 family get behind this effort! Every donation helps Special Olympics Maryland athletes train, compete, and celebrate what they can achieve.

Donate, join our team, or come plunge with us January 29, 2027. Let’s show what Post 217 can do! 🐻‍❄️

🍂 Gardening season might be winding down, but that doesn’t mean the flowers and fun have to stop at Post 217!

We’re adding a little fall color and getting the Post ready for the season. The scarecrows are out, fall decorations are going up, and before long we’ll break out the Halloween decorations! 🎃👻

Then comes Christmas 🎄, followed by New Year’s 🎉 — so consider this the start of our Holiday Countdown at Post 217!

🍁 Fall → Halloween → Christmas → New Year’s!
The decorating has officially begun. Let the fun begin!
