Colfax Railroad Days Join us for railroad equipment displays, live steam train rides, operating model railroad, art, food and fun for the whole family.

What began as a celebration of Colfax’s role in the Transcontinental Railroad has grown into a year-round mission: to preserve, celebrate, and share our community through diverse events and programs.

Whose going???

IRF 2026 is coming up fast. Ticket prices are the same as last year. At the Gate: Saturday $15. Sunday $12 . Online: Saturday $12 plus fees, Sunday $10. plus fees. All Saturday tickets good for Sunday as well. Kids 12 and under free. Active and retired military $2 off ticket price with ID at the gate (only). Cal Expo parking is $10.

Your passion for preserving and sharing our local railroad history is such an important part of what makes Colfax Railroad Days special.

As event organizers, we don’t always get the opportunity to see people interacting with and enjoying the displays and activities, so seeing those moments captured was a wonderful treat.
