Greetings all! We are excited for the Community Picnic this weekend but also have some things to share…
Save the date for Christmas at Memorial Park December: kick-off with special events the weekend of December 4, 5, 6.

That said, we still need volunteers. This event only comes to life with the generous helpers each year. If you want to be part of the magic or find out how to be involved, please join one or all of our meetings held on the following Wednesdays at 6:30pm at the Coldwater Public Library: August 19, September 16, October 21, and November 18.

We are still in need of chairs for the parade, amphitheater, and card walk. We would love for these traditions to continue so please join.

To our chairs, committee, volunteers, vendors, area businesses, donors, community and all who made it possible - thank you for making 2025 so wonderful. We look forward to bringing more magic in 2026. Stay tuned! For now: Have a very, very Happy New Year.

The lights may be down, but we are in full reflection of this year’s event and already looking ahead to 2026. We have many thanks to share to all involved.

With that, we find ourselves searching for how to best express our gratitude for Molly Hay and Nancy Hartke. Two extraordinary people who, when the Coldwater Ohio Kiwanis Club wanted to begin this, took on a vision and ran with it. All the planning, countless hours, amazing organization & coordination, and just pure kindness to all around them to include anyone who also wanted to help make the holiday magic come to life. Thank you for being co-chairs for 5 years and your guidance to bring Christmas at Memorial Park to life.

We also welcome two community members who stepped up to help keep the magic going. You will see and hear more from the new co-chairs Brian Welsch and Christine Hansen in 2026.

A big thank you to cavfootball, Coldwater Ohio Kiwanis Club, all event chairs, and community members who helped with tear down and clean up this weekend.

Reminder: all helpers welcome to join today! See you at 9am.

Still 2 weeks to enjoy the lights!
As much as we don’t want the magic to end, we do need help with decoration clean-up. We are planning December 28 beginning at 9am. The more helpers, the merrier…and quickness and ease of the process.
