Arts in the Cove - A Festival by the Sea The mission of “Arts in the Cove, A Festival by the Sea" is to celebrate our marine-based lifestyle with an authentic seaside fair.

Arts in the Cove is committed to enriching the lives of our island's residents and tourists alike while offering diverse activities, learning opportunities, and engaging events that bring everyone together in celebration of creativity and community spirit In bringing together gifted vendors and performers with local and visiting patrons the Festival seeks to promote support for the arts and to create a sustainable market for our Rainforest Artists and Artisans. Our objective is to capture the furtherance of, increasing awareness in, and sharing the importance surrounding our rainforest island's art and oceanic lifestyle.

🍂🎃 What a wonderful weekend in the Cove! The sun came out, the bonfire was glowing, and fall fun was in full swing.

On Friday, the kids carved more than 20 pumpkins—Thank You to Alaska Commercial Company for the generous donation! They enjoyed s’mores and hot apple c***r during a fantastic activity organized by Arts in the Cove. 🍎🔥

Saturday’s movie night was a huge success, too! More than 25 people braved the chilly evening to watch Hocus Pocus 2 and gather by the fires. The glowing jack-o’-lanterns set the perfect scene for a cozy night filled with community and laughter. 🧡🍿

Kids, if you haven't grabbed your pumpkin yet, they're waiting for you at the Pavillion! Thank you for allowing us to use them to decorate for Movie Night! 💛

Our Coffman Cove Community Challenge Fundraiser has officially ended as of September 20, 2026!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and friends near and far, we raised $17,817 in matching donations—combined with the generous $10,000 Kemah Fund / Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina grant, that’s a total of $27,817!

100% of this grant and its matching funds will be divided into thirds to help support the most dire areas of need within our community here in Coffman Cove, AK:
• EMT training and emergency services
• The new library
• Arts in the Cove and the Community Center programs.

Thank you to every person who donated, attended the St Patricks day dinner fundraiser, purchased an item at the auction, and supported Coffman Cove! Your generosity is making a real difference in our community!

🚑 Big News for Coffman Cove Emergency Services!

Thanks to your incredible support during our matching funds Community Challenge and the grant from the Kemah Foundation, we have over $9,200 available for Coffman Cove's Emergency Services!

How the money will protect our community:
🎓 EMT Scholarships: Funding is officially secured for 2 EMT training scholarships, including all travel expenses (approx. $8000 total, or $4000 each).
🚨 Life-Saving Equipment: The remaining approx. $1200 will fund vital upgrades for our Emergency Services. We are in need of new life-saving equipment, and your generosity means we can get it!

Thank you to everyone who stepped up to meet the challenge and support our local first responders!

Arts in the Cove is acting as the fiscal sponsor for the project, holding the money in a secure, interest-bearing account until it is needed.
