Shoutout to a repeat Platinum Sponsor for 2026, Bartlett, a Savage Company!!

Bartlett, a leading exporter in the global supply chain, has committed to giving back to the local community, joining us again with an amazing sponsorship. Newly located just off Highway 169 between Cherryvale and Coffeyville, their massive beautiful facility is hard to miss!

Known locally as “The Cherryvale Soybean Plant”, they have wasted no time in supporting local events and being involved in community engagement!

We are proud to have them alongside us again for another year!

31 days to go! Featuring Tanner Raida!

No surprise here as Raida and company have become a staple of the Brian Knisley Memorial in recent years! Tanner is well known for turning up the pace alongside Trevor and Jerry Raida, as they take on the $10,000 to win and $5,000 total Maddog prize in the Full-Size Singles class!

We caught up with the BKM fan favorite, who was fresh off tying the knot, to see how progress was coming as we inch toward June 6th!

•Q: As a driver who’s competed here the last several years, what keeps you coming back to the Brian Knisley Memorial Derby?

•A: The opportunity to drive with some of the best around, awesome crowd, and always a great show to be apart of.

•Q: What’s a message for other younger derby drivers who are just getting started, that you wish someone told you when you first started?

•A: Put as much time and thought into each and every one of your builds as you can.

•Q: Anyone you’d like to thank in helping prepare/build for the Brian Knisley Memorial Derby?

•A: Any and all friends and family that lend a hand.

Can the #31 land the long overdue victory in the Coffeyville Arena? The countdown is on 👀

33 DAYS TO GO! Featuring #33 Mike Schierlman!

Mike Schierlman returns for his 6th consecutive year, as a driver and sponsor both with Schierlman Trucking! Mike claimed a BKM Championship in 2024 alongside his son Ethan Schierlman, as the duo knows the work it takes to claim a victory at the BKM.

We caught up with Mike before he headed out of state, to get his thoughts on the quick approaching Memorial Derby!

•Q: As a former champion and longtime participant of the Brian Knisley Memorial, what keeps you coming back every year?

•A: Gotta try winning the biggest local show, and Ethan wont let me not.

•Q: What’s a message for derby drivers who are just getting started, that you wish someone told you when you first started?

•A: Starting out, success is in the details.

•Q: Anyone you’d like to thank in helping prepare/build for the Brian Knisley Memorial Derby?

•A: Of course I gotta thank Amy for putting up with my bu****it, and to E for all the work he does.

Wise words from a past Champion. How will Mike do as the field switches to a singles format this year?

34 days remain! Featuring #34 Cody Julich!

Julich makes his return to the Brian Knisley Memorial, after claiming the 2023 BKM 2-Man Compact Championship. He teams up with another former champ in 2024 BKM 2-Man Compact Champion Wyatt Raida, and a former Blizzard Bash Compact Champion in Levi Skillman, making this a well achieved and dangerous Team Tombstone squad!

We caught up with Julich who was just now knocking the dust off his car to begin the grind ahead toward the Brian Knisley Memorial!

•Q: Being a former Compact 2-Man Champion back in 2023 and taking a few years off, what’s brought you back to the Brian Knisley Memorial Derby this year?

•A: I highly enjoy the running the team shows. After 23 years of running in derbies, the team aspect gives new light to the sport. Also my little baby boy Wyatt Radia really wanted me to run with him.

•Q: What’s a message for derby drivers who are just getting started, that you wish someone told you when you first started?

•A: I really don’t have anything I wish someone would have told me but I will give my 2 cents to the kids. Don’t take the easy path. It’s real easy to buy everything and pay to have someone build your car for you. But I think that takes away from the most important part of the sport and that’s learning, getting your hands dirty. Learn how to mechanic ,weld, cut exc. Yes I’m a builder but I mostly build for people that own their own business and simply don’t have time to build their own. I don’t build for younger guys because they need to learn how and they will thank me later.

•Q: Anyone you’d like to thank in helping prepare/build for the Brian Knisley Memorial Derby?

•A: I have several friends loaning me parts and I appreciate them and my family for putting up with the countless hours in the shop. Most importantly I’d like to thank 6 pound 8 ounce baby Jesus for giving me the health and opportunity to be able to still do the things I love.

Can Julich remain undefeated in his BKM showings? We find out in 34 days!
