Teamster Profile: Wade Thornley, teamster for Eagle Rock Belgians. Wade has been driving a six horse hitch for about 15 years. He enjoys taking a group of horses, getting them to mesh and drive as a unit, which is very apparent when you see the Eagle Rock Belgian hitch pull into the ring.
Wade's favorite horse was a horse named Fritz that they bought from New Mexico, he never had an off day and always gave 110%.
Wade's most memorable Calgary Stampede moment was winning the Belgian six horse hitch class in 2008.
We are thrilled to have the Thornley's back at the show and wish them the best of luck!
