Another great Guest River Rally has come to an end! What a great weekend we had! The weather was beautiful and there was no shortage of things to do. The Guest River Rally is always a great time to see old friends, make new ones, do a little shopping, and enjoy some great food and music. I'd like to say a great big thank you to everyone that made it a success! Thank you to every vendor, every festival goer, everyone that participated in a contest, every donor, all the entertainment, the Coeburn Improvement Association, and the Town of Coeburn. We couldn't do it with out you and appreciate everyone that takes part! THANK YOU!

What a day of fun it's been today at the Guest River Rally! Looking forward to tomorrow! Sunday vendors will open at 10 a.m. and there will be wagon rides from 1pm-3pm. There will be inflatables at the park for the kids and the Silent Auction will be set up in the Depot from 1pm-3pm. Come down and enjoy some great gospel music on the depot stage! The Kings Messengers, The Dearry Family, Edna Brim, and The White Family will all be singing. The Rally will conclude with the Coeburn Fire Department Duck Race at 4pm. We look forward to seeing you all at the Guest River Rally!

Tonight was a great start to the Guest River Rally! Saturday is packed with fun events, great vendors, and lots of food! The weather is going to be perfect so come out and enjoy the Rally. The Eastside Senior Class will be having a pancake breakfast in the morning from 7am-10pm in the Depot. The 28th Annual Justin's Walk will begin at 9 am in Ringley Park . Vendors will be open at 10 am.

The Guest River Rally Co****le Tournament will be at 11 am. Registration begins at 10 a.m There will be a Longest Drive Competition tomorrow from 10am-7 pm at the Golf Loft. And when you're through there, be sure to go by the Lays Building to see traditional woodcarving and stay to hear Bluegrass Circle from 2pm-4pm.

All you pet lovers will enjoy the Hillbilly Pet Show from 12pm -1pm. Enter your best dressed Hillbilly pet! There are prizes for Best Dressed Pet and Pet Owner Look Alike and a few different categories. Once you and your hillbilly pet have enjoyed the show, stop by the depot for the Silent Auction. If you and your pet also have some children to entertain, you can stop by Ringley Park and let them play on some inflatables from 1pm-7pm. Don't forget the talent show at the depot stage at 1pm!

Once you've done all that, take a wagon ride through town. Rides are $5 and will be done throughout the day from 2pm-6pm. There will still be lots to see and do during the evening! The Country Cabin Line Dancers will be at the Depot Stage from 3pm-3:45pm and Rhythm of the Knights will take the stage to play some classic rock from 4pm-5:30pm. After that, Club Rewind is set to bring the ultimate dance party to the Guest River Rally with the best of 80s pop rock!

This year we have several new vendors along with lots of familiar faces. There is definitely something for everyone. Some new faces we will be seeing at the Rally are Payne's Primitives, making and selling stone knives, arrowpoint pendants and handmade jewelry. Moonlit Creations will be set up with crochet clothing, plushies, accessories and handmade jewelry. Phyllis Mullins will be set up selling home decor, towels, wooden signs, bows, quilts, and more. Baerbargains Upcycling will be selling custom clothing. Peggy Brown will be selling accessories, and Beaded and Blessed will be set up with necklaces, wristlets, and more.

Some familiar faces that have been with us before are returning this year. Kim's Beadables will be on hand again this year with beaded pens, keychains, and bookmarks. Frozen Explosion will be selling all sorts of freeze dried candies. . Kilgore's Crafts will be with us again and so will Jam's Creatives. Little Love Bugs Depot will have purses, bookmarks, hair accessories, and sand art. Charlee Brook Designs will be on site making custom t shirts, and Della's Designs will have key chains, tumblers and t shirts. Eastside High School band will be set up selling drinks and snacks as well.

You'll also see local organizations and candidates for local offices. The Guest River Rally is a great chance to get out and enjoy the town and do a little shopping in between all the fun the rally offers. Be sure to stop all the vendors and say hi as you are in downtown Coeburn enjoying the Guest River Rally!

It's Guest River Rally weekend and one thing you won't have to worry about is finding something good to eat! We have lots to choose from. Chalee Chicken on a Stick, Kilgores Korner, Dough & Joe, Leno's Hibachi, BrainFreeze, Oma's Haus, Sweet Creations, The Lemon Lagoon, The Little Griddle, Funnel Cakes Delight, and The Lemon Lab will be here all weekend.

Make sure you come out tonight to the browse the vendors at the Guest River Rally and get something to eat from one of the food trucks set up. While you're downtown, stop in at Lay's to hear Cripple Creek. Admission to Lays is $5 for Adults and $1for kids 6-12. Under age 6, admission is free. And make sure to come back tomorrow and Sunday for all the music and activities!

It's Thursday! That means we are heading in to another great Guest River Rally weekend and the weather is going to be great! So make sure you come out and see all our vendors, take part in some of our great events, and visit our food trucks! Lots to do this weekend!
