In an effort to allow more flexibility and offer more spots to the waitlist, deferrals are now being accepted through RunSignup.
Log into your Profile, go to Upcoming Events, click Manage Registration, and Defer Registration. There is a fee for deferrals. This allows you to defer to 2027 and not incur a cost when registering. You can only defer for one year.
You will receive an email once registration is open and will again go to your RunSignup Profile to register. Deferring does not guarantee a spot in next year's race. You must register through your RunSignup Profile. You must register by March 1, 2027, or when the event sells out, whichever occurs first. Please do not wait to register.
Deferrals will open on July 8, 2026, and remain open until sold out or October 25, 2026, whichever occurs first. A limited number of deferrals will be available.

There are now less than 200 spots available for this year’s Space Coast Marathon. Once these spots are gone, registration will close and we’ll start a waitlist. There is no guarantee to get a spot from the waitlist. Spots for the marathon will become available to the waitlist as marathon registrants transfer themselves to the half marathon. Want a guaranteed spot? Register now! We started with 1,400 spots available for the marathon and we’re down to the final 198.

Priority registration for the 2026 event is now open to past participants of Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon. Priority registration is open February 12th at 9:00am until February 13th at 11:59pm. There are 35,000+ past participants that are eligible for priority registration. Guarantee your space in the 2026 event by registering early!

We're happy to announce the start of a new Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon series! After wrapping up our 4 year journey to the red planet, we will continue our journey into the known universe for 2026-2029. Welcome to the New Frontiers series! 2026 highlights the Juno space mission to Jupiter, 2027 highlights the Cassini–Huygens mission to Saturn, 2028 highlights the Chandra X-ray Observatory's search for black holes, and 2029 highlights the New Horizons mission to Pluto. The 3 Year Challenge medal will feature the Hubble Space Telescope and the 4 Year Challenge medal will tie all 4 years together in one New Frontiers Challenge medal.
We hope you'll join us in this exciting new series that lifts off the Sunday BEFORE Thanksgiving on November 22, 2026!
