We are so excited to announce our first Music Matters Presents show on Friday 9/18/26 at Goucher College Kraushaar Auditorium.

STICKY FINGERS!

Back by popular demand, Sticky Fingers is a bold, high-octane celebration of The Rolling Stones’ swagger, soul, and unmistakable attitude—reimagined through an all-female, powerhouse frontline that brings a fresh edge to one of rock’s greatest catalogs.

On September 18, 2026, Goucher College's Kraushaar Auditorium hosts a fearless night of classic rock rebellion, featuring a live performance of the legendary Sticky Fingers album in its entirety, followed by an encore packed with Stones hits that defined generations.

The show features a dazzling lineup of some of the region’s most respected and electrifying frontwomen. Langer, lead vocalist of the multi Wammie Award-winning, Billboard Top 10 band The Boneshakers, anchors the night with her road-tested vocals and commanding stage presence. She’s joined by Patty Reese, a celebrated Americana artist and multiple music-award winner known for her powerful voice and heartfelt songwriting; Shirleta Settles, who delivers powerhouse vocals with soul stirring passion that leaves audiences on their feet; and Juliet Lloyd, a beloved DMV vocalist praised for her magnetic presence and genre-blending style.

Rounding out the cast are Blue Elan signed rock artist Holly Montgomery and Sam Reed, a staple on the Richmond music scene (Dance Candy, No BS! Brass, Keller Williams Grateful Gospel)—each a dynamic performer with deep roots in rock, blues, and soul scenes, and all bringing their own grit and personality to this unforgettable night.

Presented by Music Matters and produced by Jenny Langer, Sticky Fingers is more than a concert—it’s a statement. This is classic rock turned inside out: Louder, bolder, and unapologetically powerful. Expect soaring vocals, iconic riffs, and the kind of chemistry that only happens when elite artists share the stage with purpose. Proceeds benefit Music Matters, a 501c3 non profit organization.

Something organic has been blooming from Asbury Park, New Jersey, and is now making its way around the world. Dogs In A Pile, a band of five twenty somethings with old souls and limitless chops, is waking people up to the timeless and ineffable joys of psychedelic-tinged jazz-funk rock n’ roll.

This is one of the busiest touring bands of today, averaging 130 live shows per year since 2022. The road has become their creative engine, generating a rapidly growing catalog of original tunes. Distroid, the band’s newest album, is a 10-song collection featuring long-awaited studio versions of some of the Dogs’ most beloved repertoire.

Dogs In A Pile is guitarist Jimmy Law, guitarist Brian Murray, keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan, bassist Sam Lucid, and drummer Joe Babick. In addition, the Dogs In A Pile community includes the Dog Pound, the group’s extended family of fans across the country.

Bring on the best of New Orleans music, bring on Galactic featuring Jelly Joseph!

For over 30 years, Galactic has been a powerhouse of New Orleans music, fusing funk, jazz, rock, and soul into a sound that’s unmistakably their own. Originally coming together in the ’90s as a late-night funk band, the group has grown into a genre-defying collective that continues to evolve while staying true to their roots. Their high-energy live shows and adventurous collaborations have earned them a loyal following around the world.

In recent years, Galactic has been touring and recording with dynamic vocalist Jelly Joseph, whose soulful, commanding voice adds a powerful new dimension to their sound. The band also serves as the owner and steward of the legendary Tipitina’s music venue, where they host iconic performances and foster the next generation of New Orleans artists. In 2021, they launched Tipitina’s Record Club, an all-vinyl label celebrating the city’s rich musical legacy.

We cannot wait to welcome Cory Wong to the Hot August stage on Saturday August 22nd! 🌻

Cory Wong is a Grammy Nominated guitarist, producer, variety show host, and podcast host. In addition to his skyrocketing solo career, he is also a member of Vulfpeck & Fearless Flyers.

Quickly gaining momentum on the internet, Cory wasted no time taking the show on the road. He and his band have been performing to sold out crowds around the world on some of the most iconic stages.

Cory’s passion for music and collaboration expands farther than writing and performing songs. The internet knows Cory Wong for his fun content creation, marketing campaigns, and partnerships with top brands like Apple, where he recently launched his own Producer Pack. In early 2024, Cory was asked to write the theme song for the newest CBS late night tv show, called After Midnight. He also recently appeared on the theme song for Spy X Family Season 2, which charted at #1 in Japan. Wong has positioned himself at the forefront of product partnerships with signature products in stores worldwide.
