This amazing duo, featuring Danny Kensy ( Danny Kensy ) and Barefoot Joe ( Barefoot Joe ), is coming back to Cochranton on Saturday, August 8th! We can't wait to have these good ole boys back in town to help us celebrate America's 250th!

Barefoot Joe..... is redefining modern country music with a gritty-soulful sound that blends authentic country music with a dynamic pallet of storytelling, creativity, and his unique musical influences. Based out of Virginia, Barefoot Joe is an artistic powerhouse - a songwriter, videographer, director, producer, and multi-genre artist. Barefoot Joe has been writing and recording music for nearly 20 years. He has worked with a wide variety of respected writers, producers, and artists, including Clarence Jey (Tenntones Inc.), Joshua Thompson (J Records), Danny Kensy (Yep Records), Dakota Jay (Rad Records), and Corey Lee Barker. On stage, Barefoot Joe brings that same authenticity to life. Performing barefoot — a signature symbol of his grounded, no-pretense artistry and heritage — he connects with audiences through raw emotion and unfiltered storytelling. He has opened for a number of artists including Drew Baldridge, John Rich, Old Dominion, Montgomery Gentry, Michael Ray, Brett Young, Ray Scott, Tony Jackson, Southerland, and Confederate Railroad. As he continues to expand his catalog and reach new audiences, Barefoot Joe stands out as a compelling new voice in contemporary country — one who honors the genre’s roots while carving his own unmistakable path forward. Joe was honored at the 11th Annual Josie Music Awards on November 2, 2025, at the historic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN, with the Vocalist of the Year – Modern Country Male Alumni award.

With 4 Top 20 Singles on the TRACtion True Indie Chart and 5 Charted Music Row Singles, it's no wonder Country Radio keeps playing his music. As the winner of the 2023 Josie Awards Male Modern Country Artist of the Year and 2024 Josie Awards Songwriter of the Year, Danny prides himself in playing over 200 shows each year all over the world, and has opened for the likes of Brad Paisley, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, Charlie Daniels Band, Rascal Flatts and Randy Travis just to name a few. Danny is also an accomplished songwriter, having won top songwriting awards from The Billboard Song Contest, The International Songwriting Competition, The Great American Songwriting Competition, and NSAI. Winning for his unreleased song, "HIGHER"! This amazing win highlights his immense talent and dedication. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of this track, and it's solid proof that Danny is on the rise in the country music industry. This marks his 5th JMA award. The excitement surrounding his journey continues to grow! At the 2025 ceremony, Kensy was honored with the Song Achievement Award for his unreleased track “HIGHER”, a song he co-wrote. This win marks his fifth Josie Music Award overall!
