Friday Coffee Porch Pickup Announcement. It looks like it will be rainy tomorrow. All of the remaining coffee bags have been put inside of plastic totes to keep them dry sitting on the front porch.

Please feel free to open up the tote lids to locate your coffee orders. As before, please place your payment envelopes with cash or check payment in the basket by the front door.

So there has been a change of plans for our coffee order pickups. Due to unexpected circumstances, coffee orders placed last week on Facebook can be picked up from our front porch either today or tomorrow. We received over 70 orders and we are so grateful for your support!

Please locate the bag containing your order and use the envelope provided inside your bag for payment. Please place your envelope containing a cash or check payment in the basket by the front door.

Many thanks to our kids Emily and Thomas for doing the order prep, and again thanks to Thomas for putting everything out for customer pickup.

Cooler weather is here. With my illness, I have missed being able to create treats, cakes and snacks for everyone. I have been out of action for too long.

So with the help of my family, we thought now is a great time to offer pre-orders for our holiday coffees.

This will probably be the only chance to snag your favorites, so we suggest that you stock up now to have enough to get through the holiday season. Our coffees freeze nicely to retain freshness and they are great to give as gifts.
We will be taking pre-orders through November 4th.

Ordering is simple, just comment, below on this post with what flavors you’d like. We will then bag your coffee up, put your total on the bag, along with your name, and do a porch pick up on November 8th.

You will be able to pick up your coffee order from the table on our porch. Just leave a payment, cash or check, in the money bag on the porch.

Flavors available include
Jingle Bell Java,
Decaf Jingle Bell Java,
Jamaican Me Crazy,
Decaf Jamaican Me Crazy, and
Mistletoe Mocha.
$7 each.

I am excited to do this offering with the help of my family, supporting me.

Again, this will only be a one time offering, so make sure you stock up for the holiday season.

Dear friends, it’s Bill, Wendy’s husband. It’s been a long and challenging day today. The long awaited first day of cancer treatments for Wendy. She’s doing okay right now. But this stuff is scary and hard. She has a special request. If anyone wants to share a picture of yourself wearing support bracelets or shirts like those that say “Pray for Wendy” etc. she would love to see that. Thanks to everyone keeping her in thoughts and prayers.

Happy watermelon festival weekend. Just wanted to jump on here and say over these past years I sure have appreciated all the support I’ve received selling my treats downtown to surrounding areas and community. It’s hard to not be able to do it this year and give up another thing that I loved. Enjoy doing for others. But due to some recent health issues, I’m just not able. But I sure wanted to say how supportive evolve been and how much it’s been appreciate it over the years. I hope you all have a good weekend and please keep myself and family in prayers as I will be starting cancer, radiation and chemo treatments next week and get your use. More support and prayers.

Hard year this year. Sad to be missing out on baking all the treats for everybody for the watermelon festival this year. Wish I was able to do it but due to health issues I’m just unable. But I sure wanted to take a moment and thank everybody for all the past years of support. Hope you all enjoy the weekend and please keep myself and our family in your prayers as I start a new journey with starting radiation and chemo for cancer. Could sure use all the prayers and support. It’s been a rough go for me these past 7 weeks. Many know I lost my mom. She was a beautiful woman and my world has been turned upside down. I was blessed to be her daughter and be with her, by her side for her final journey home. 34 days of holding her hand, praying with her, loving her, honoring her wishes, talking to her. nothing but a blessing.. I was able to do this because of so many understanding customers whom told me, take the time, be with her, you are right where you need to be with her. Your understanding and patience was amazing and heartfelt, the prayers of support for my mom and myself helped me like nothing else. Thank you!
I’ll be taking things slow as I navigate through this loss and take care of things for my mom. I will need time. But I wanted to thank you all for the love and support during this most difficult time.
