Kirkland Art Center

Kirkland Art Center The Kirkland Art Center was established as a community arts organization 60 years ago in the second floor of the town library as a meeting place.

From the beginning there were classes, exhibitions, films, concerts and lectures. The KAC is now an active, regional, multi-arts center, located in an old church, barn and connecting addition, on the village green in Clinton. The nature of the activities and mission has stayed steadfast, and with the support of the community, members, volunteers, funding sources and guidance from the NYSCA, our programming has broadened. Demonstrating high-quality, diverse programming, the KAC has become a a cultural hub in central New York and through cooperation with other organizations has developed a network of services and opportunities for artists and art lovers of all ages and disciplines.

Our Juried Show: What's Cooking? is opening this Saturday!

Opening Reception 1 - 4 pm.

Come see a collection of food-themed artworks, from still lives and kitchens to feasts, hunger, sustainability, and cultural traditions.

We are delighted that the Kirkland Art Center is joining the MV Gives campaign again this year! Last year, with your support, the KAC raised almost $15,000 — this year, with matching funds and an exciting donor challenge, we’re hoping to reach our goal of over $50,000!

Generous donors are matching all gifts made between September 14-18, up to $15,000 and have created a $5000 challenge that will be met if we reach 200 donors by September 18.

Your generous contributions keep the art center going strong and will add needed funds to bring our community/teaching kitchen to life and build new art accessible art spaces.

Hayley pulls inspiration from a variety of styles, including 60s + 70s rock + pop, musical theater, folk, blues, soul, psychedelic, funk + bluegrass. Just as varied are the many ways she can captivate an audience. Whether the concentrated potency of her solo acoustic performance, the explosive energy + movement of her full band shows, or one of her theatrical performances, she always brings the charisma, humor + passion to move an audience.
