🚨 Feel Good Story Alert 🚨

Shortly after catching this awesome fish at the event, this young lady accidentally dropped her pole and lost it at the botttom of the Ericksen Center Pond.

Never Fear!! ….American Legion is here!!! After the event, they took this young lady and her mom shopping and bought her a brand new pole.

Even after their military service, they continue to be our community heroes!! ❤️ 🇺🇸 💪 🎣

Hero’s & Hooks Fishing Derby was a hit!! Thanks for all those who came out.

RECAP:

Just over 50 kids participated.

The winner of the biggest fish caught was an 11.5" trout by Holden Schneeberger.

The winner of the smallest fish caught was 2" by Everson Prins.

The winner of most fish caught was 150 fish by Jeremiah Wissink.

Aaliyah Long won the winner of the raffle tackle box and starter kit.

Tanner Haskell won the fishing pole.
