That was Saturday.
Ten groups played. Four schools sent students who shared the day with people who've been playing this
music here for decades. Three neighborhood businesses turned their rooms over to us for seven hours.

We're live. The Evelyn Wright Trio just started at the Bop Stop.

Ten sets between now and 9 PM across three venues, none more than a two-minute walk from the others.
Free, walk up, no ticket, all ages.

Next up: the Kent State University Jazz Combo at Saucy Brew Works at 2:30, then the Jennifer James Trio
at Jukebox at 3:00.

It's a beautiful thing out here. Come on down.

Tomorrow. Here's everything you need, in one place.

When: 2 to 9 PM, Saturday, September 5.

Where: Hingetown. The Bop Stop, Saucy Brew Works, and Jukebox, all within a two-minute walk of one
another.

Cost: nothing. Free admission, all ages, walk up.

What to bring: a lawn chair or a blanket if you want to sit. The audience area at the Bop Stop is on Jim
Mahon Green, with the patio serving as the stage.

Food and drink: the Ninja City food truck, plus an outdoor bar cart at the Bop Stop.

Kids are welcome. Leashed dogs are welcome too, subject to each venue's own policy.

If it rains: every venue has an indoor performance space and sets move inside. Saucy and Jukebox both
have covered patios, so they're less affected either way. If we do move indoors, capacity is limited — come
at the start of a set rather than partway through.

One favor: the Bop Stop lot isn't open to the public. The accessible spaces in front are available; everything
else is musicians and technical crew unloading gear.

Three days out. Here's how the day actually works.

Sets run thirty minutes apart across three venues that sit within a two-minute walk of each other. You don't
have to choose — you can catch the first half of one set and the second half of the next, and plenty of
people do exactly that.
