It’s been a rewarding 16 years for my company, Rubato, Vivace & Lindway, Inc., but I finally bought out my two do-nothing partners who demanded first billing and now I’ve closed RV&L Inc. to pursue more focused, selective and specialized creative directions – ones I’m truly passionate about. These prospects could be thrilling, they could be imagination-intensive … or they could amount to a gamble that doesn’t pay off. But that’s part of the thrill. And now is the time to go after them with full focus, because if I don’t do it now, I never will. Those creative directions are embodied and embedded in RJ Lindway, ltd., my new LLC and in its new creative partnerships forming in 2022.

So, R.I.P., Rubato, Vivace & Lindway, Inc. and thanks to everyone who helped me make it successful since January 2006.

I had fun.

But now I REALLY want to have fun.

Today, January 2nd, is the 16th anniversary of the incorporation of my creative services company, Rubato, Vivace & Lindway, Inc.

I'm very excited to announce that my suspense thriller screenplay, THE SORROW VEIL, has won the Grand Prize in the 2020-21 Toronto Metropolitan International Screenwriting Competition.

THE SORROW VEIL earned the top honor in the competition that is now in its sixth year of recognizing the work of rising screenwriters. Hundreds of screenplays submitted from around the world were judged in this year’s competition.

With the Toronto Grand Prize win, THE SORROW VEIL receives its 15th and highest screenplay competition placement.
