Introducing one of our special guests for the film festival Dan O'Shannon, who will be having his Screenwriting Lecture Saturday June 20th from 2 pm to 3 pm in the lecture room.

Dan O’Shannon is a celebrated television writer and producer renowned for his work on iconic sitcoms like Modern Family, Frasier and Cheers. He has secured six Primetime Emmy Awards (five for Modern Family, one for Cheers), five Writers Guild of America Awards, multiple Golden Globe wins, and an Academy Award nomination for the animated short Redux Riding Hood. A Cleveland native, he also earned regional Emmys for a documentary on local kids’ TV and an Annie Award for The Fan and the Flower.

The International Horror Hotel Film Festival presents its first Spooky Sunday Costume Competition! Are you feeling a little spooky?

The Horror Hotel international film festival is looking for contestants with the most creepiest, scariest, creative, original and most terrifying horror characters/creatures you can conjure up.

You’ll be judged by the following :
Originality – Does the costume stand out from the rest?
Effort – Did the costume take time and exhibit effort?
Authenticity – How accurate and thorough is the costume? Overall
Presentation – Does the costume portray a complete and engaging package?
To enter the competition, all you need is a Sunday, Weekend or VIP pass or Filmmaker’s badge.
Prizes

1 place- $100.00
2nd place – 2nd place medal
3rd place – 3rd place medal
