⚠️ Important Parking Information ⚠️

We will park participants in two locations on race day. We will fill up the designated parking areas next to the Pool Area. There are about 800 parking spaces available at the Pool Area location. Please arrive early. Once that location is full, we will have overflow parking at the Golf Country Club Parking Lots.

🚙 All participants MUST ENTER Tanglewood Park through the BACK ENTRANCE off of Idols Rd.

🚙 You cannot enter Tanglewood Park at the entrance on Clemmons Rd/Hwy 158!

🚙 The gate on Idols Rd will open at EXACTLY 10:00 PM and close at EXACTLY 11:45 PM.

🚙 The back gate entrance and exit are used for Running of the Lights participants/spectators/volunteers ONLY.

💡 A quick race night tip! 💡

Yes, you’ll be running or walking through the Tanglewood Festival of Lights, but there are a few sections where lighting may be a bit lower. For extra comfort, you’re welcome to bring a flashlight or headlamp if you’d like.

The start/finish area and pre- and post-race party zones will be well lit, while the course itself will rely on the beautiful Christmas displays and park lighting.

Plan ahead, stay safe, and enjoy the glow!
