Thank You to Reporter Carrie Seidman of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune for attending and reviewing Gaspar. Good to see you !
Carrie writes "........along the way there is some very creditable dancing by professionals from Ballet Fleming (who take most of the lead roles), as well as younger dancers from the community (who play the townspeople), and a lot of swashbuckling choreographed sword fights. To satisfy the kiddies, Gaspar makes his entrances Tarzan-style, on a rope, and at one point most of the cast dances up and down the theater aisles, distributing pirate b***y (Mardi Gras beads) and setting off streamers."
