Facebook says it has been 351 days since our last post, so here is a new post. While there has been no announcement on where or when the next Iowa-Minnesota Pirate Fest is, you can check out Midlands Pirate Festival if you want.

The Iowa-Minnesota Pirate Festival has establishes itself as an event that will move back and forth between Iowa and Minnesota. It’s almost like the name had that in mind.

While there is no announcement about a 2024 event as of now, discussions have been had about when and where it might return. Keep those ideas and suggesting coming! We had a blast last time in Clear Lake and already miss wearing the eye patch in public.

One of our plans for 2022 was to host the pirate festival at Adventureland near Des Moines. The pirate festival was going to be one of several events to be hosted there. A few months ago, Adventureland was sold to Palace Entertainment, a subsidiary of Madrid, Spain-based Parques Reunidos, and they cancelled plans for the festivals. With that said, where would you like to see the pirate festival the next time it makes land? 🏴‍☠️
