It is with a sad and heavy heart that we announce that the Shindig will be postponed indefinitely.
We are true believers that music can heal a lot in this world, and we also believe that the world could use festivals and live music now more than ever. With the ever changing environment and pressures that the last two years have brought, and with a pandemic it has become impossible for our festival to continue in this current state.
We are so very grateful to the Town of Clayton for allowing us to party here, and to the many many sponsors and vendors for footing the bill, AND OF COURSE YOU THE FANS FOR PARTYING WITH US ALL THESE YEARS! We started the Shindig to serve our community with a fun event and to raise awareness and funds and to give back to the families in need. With your help we have touched hundreds of families over these past years and given thousands of dollars in scholarships. We will miss the thousands upon thousands of twirling, dancing, head bobbing fans that have graced our lawns and danced and celebrated community and music together as one. In the beginning it was about us giving back, but you all have given back to us so much more! This festival is a Rotary event, specifically the Clayton Mid Day Rotary, it always has been since day one. Please find your local service clubs and support them in this time, the community needs civic organizations now more than ever. Volunteer! Serve Others First!
