A BIG thank you to all the sponsors and donors who helped make these much needed and lasting improvements possible.

Earlier this summer a revised Clayton Walking Tour storyboard replaced the outdated storyboard on the same location, the corner of Riverside Drive and John Street. The revised storyboard, with clearer history and numbering of buildings, was the work of the Village Sesquicentennial committee. The storyboard was funded through community donations and sponsorships from 32 supporting businesses. In the attached photo, members of the committee, left to right, are Christopher Bogenschutz, Tricia Bannister, Tom LaClair, Justin Taylor, Patti Lashomb, Norma Zimmer, Mike Hooson, Linda Schleher, and Alexandra Buduson.

The Village of Clayton 150th Committee is accepting items to be placed in the 150th Commemorative Time Capsule!

Business cards, letters, & small items can be dropped off at the Clayton Chamber of Commerce Office 517 Riverside Drive, Clayton, NY.

The time capsule will be reopened during the Village of Clayton Bicentennial in 2072.

The deadline to drop off items will be Thursday, December 22, 2022.

As part of the Village's 150th Celebration, Horizon Aerial Media provided us with drone footage of the downtown historical district. This footage will be preserved at the Thousand Islands Museum for future generations.

For a donation of $5.00 you can have yours made for you. OR if you want to do it yourself you can stop by the Chamber of Commerce and pick up a BLANK Green Circle.
