After some much-needed rest and relaxation, it was time to wake up this morning and say thank you, Knoxville and thank you Aries 34 fighters and fans!
The atmosphere was absolutely electric inside The World Famous Cotton Eyed Joe this past Friday night! While we tend to expect nothing less from Big Orange Country, you guys never cease to amaze us. Every time we return, you outdo yourself. Your support for the show and for your favorite fighters is amazing!
This event had a nice mix of established Aries regulars and first time debuts. But regardless of the experience level, each and every one of you performed like seasoned veterans.
Congratulations to all of those who climbed into the cage and competed this past Friday and job well done to those who got their hand raised. And to the gyms and coaches that put so much of their time into these fighters, congratulations to you as well. Because regardless of the outcome of the fight, the time, the energy and the skill that you pour into these fighters is evident.
Hats off to Brandon Dougherty and Jeff Jankowski’s, as both gentlemen walked away with Aries amateur titles; Janowski capturing the middleweight championship and Dougherty defending his title for the first time.
A special shout out goes to Luke Wilson and Lee Radford. you two gentlemen gave your fans what they came to see, and once again proved that age ain’t nothing but a number. Inspiring.
