Hi everyone!
We have successfully finished another great sale! Again, checks will be mailed within 3-4 weeks after the pick up date (this past Sunday).
We wanted to address a few hiccups we encountered this past sale, to prevent it from continuing in future sales.
1. Avoid using large safety pins, as it causes holes that are NOT fixable, on clothing! Safety pins are the most efficient way that tags can be placed on clothes so we will continue this method. We ask to just be mindful of the material of the clothing when using large pins!
2. Avoid using tagging guns because they also leave larger holes than wanted in the clothing!
3. We had a lot of double tags this year, to avoid this issue PLEASE make sure only one tag is being put on the item!
4. Please keep the season in mind when bringing clothes to the sale. We understand that at the beginning of the week it was freezing but for the Spring/Summer sale we do not accept winter jackets, sweatpants etc. This is the same for the fall/winter sale! It maybe 70 degrees but we will not take shorts, tank tops etc.
5. Avoid printing tags from phone and when printing tags off a computer MAKE SURE they are formatted correctly. Small tags lead to errors in pricing due to not being able to read tags!
6. Check items for stains, rips and hole before bringing them to the sale!
7. Put the name of the item and size if applicable! There were a lot of items that lost tags and we were not able to match them back due to no description on the tag! We have workers that diligently match tags back to items but if the tag is blank, there is nothing we can do!
8. We are cash and check only!
9. Make sure your tags have the right seller number and a price on them!
Thank you!
