If you were at the Clare Great EGGStravaganza on Saturday and took a picture with the Easter Bunny or Miss Michigan Teen USA, post a picture from the event and tag us for a chance to win a prize!!! We had some unclaimed prizes and would love to be able to give them away to you all still!!!

You will have until 4/12/26 to post and tag us. Winners will be messaged on Monday, 4/13/26!

Thanks again for everyone who helped with prepping for the event and during the event. It takes a lot of work behind the scenes to pull events and programs together and I definitely could not do it without the assistance of our community volunteers and partners.

For those who came out and braved the elements, we do have some items that were left behind. Please contact me if you forgot something. I have two umbrellas left behind as well. I know there was a family with matching umbrellas and one of them was left at the hanger. I have them with me at City Hall, feel free to give me a call or come in to claim. (989) 424-4074.

Thank you to everyone that came out this year!!! Despite the rain we had a good amount of families that came out and celebrated with us. Our planes could not fly and so we had to modify the event a bit with an egg roll instead of a drop and were fortunate to be able to use a hanger to use for cover and some games.

Reminder that we will still hold the event, but if the planes will not be able to fly because of the weather we will just have a ground hunt. Please dress for the weather and bring your umbreallas as it is calling for rain all morning!

Just a reminder that tomorrow we will be still holding the event (rain or shine). The weather outlook is still calling for rain during the morning hours, so if you plan on coming out, please dress and plan accordingly!

There have been a lot of calls, emails and messages that have come in asking about our annual Great EGGstravaganza egg drop event. Our event is still being held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the same times listed on the original flyer.

The other one that people have been asking about that has been circulating around is on April 11, 2026. That April 11 event is not a City of Clare Parks and Recreation event, that event is being held in Harrison at the Clare County Airport. I do not have any specifics regarding that event, but you should be able to find information about that one by checking with the county or on their website.
