โญ EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT โ JESSE YERBICH โญ
Meet the man who answers to Jesse, Jess, Jesse James, and probably most often around The CornerโฆโHEY!โ ๐
What does Jesse do at The Corner? Wellโฆ what needs done?
Cook. Bartender. Mr. Fix-It. Handyman. Plumber. Heavy lifter. Ribeye specialist. And pretty much anything the girls yell at him to do. ๐คฃ
If something breaks, leaks, quits working, needs moved, needs cooked, or nobody else knows what the heck to do with itโฆ
HEY, JESSE!
Born in 1978 and a proud Class of โ96 graduate, Jesse refuses to acknowledge that he's getting older. ๐ He still plays coed softball, runs way faster than a man his age has any business running, loves hunting and fishing, never misses a chance for Turkey Camp, enjoys high school wrestling, and remains painfully devoted to the Minnesota Vikings. ๐๐
And when the work is finally done? His drink of choice is simple: an ice-cold Coors Light. ๐บ Preferably cold. Very cold. ๐
A few Jesse classics youโre bound to hear:
๐พ โGO CATS!โ
๐ฅ โItโs not that hot.โ
๐ โJust try itโฆโ
For the record, the last two should probably never be trusted without further investigation. ๐
And then thereโsโฆ
๐ฅธ THE MUSTACHE: There isn't one. There hasn't been one. Yet somehow, with one particular customer, the mustache lives on. ๐
Those who know, know.
For everyone elseโฆ youโre probably better off not asking. ๐คฃ
But underneath all the crap we give him, Jesse is a family guy through and through. He's been married to his wife for 26 years, is Dad to a son and daughter, somehow managed to score himself a favorite daughter-in-law ๐๐, and is Grandpa to a little guy who absolutely means the world to him. โค๏ธ
He's always ready to lend a hand, usually greets you with a smile, and if you see him behind the grill, ORDER THE RIBEYE. ๐ฅฉ The man knows his way around a steak.
So next time you're at The Corner and something needs done, feel free to join the rest of us and yellโฆ
โHEY, JESSE!โ
He'll know exactly who you're talking to. ๐
Thanks for everything you do around here, Jess. Without you, we'd probably have to learn how to fix our own stuffโand absolutely nobody wants that. ๐คฃ๐บโค๏ธ
