✊🏾 Celebrate Black Voices! ✊🏾

📍Join us in the Taproom TODAY, Saturday, February 7th from 12pm-6pm for a celebration of Black creativity and impact within our community!

🍻12-6pm: Black-owned business vendor market and food by Maw Maw’s
🍻1pm-1:30pm: Q-Kidz performance
🍻2pm-6pm: DJ Queen Celine

🌟We are releasing Mack's Island Ale, a Tropical B**r with Ginger, named after Theodore Mack Sr., owner/operator of one of America’s first Black-owned breweries, Peoples Brewing Co. $1 per pint of Mack's Island Ale sold will support Q-Kidz Dance Team, an organization that provides dance and educational programs to youth in Cincinnati. Q-Kidz plays an essential role in the community by offering youth a safe and supportive platform for creative expression, communication, and accountability.
This event was brought to life by Rhinegeist’s BIPOC and Allies Employee Resource Group, and is FREE and open to the public.

The official info: Monday, October 28th, 2024. 7PM at the Rosenthal Shelterhouse, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. No reservations necessary. "The Ravenside Occurrence", a play in Two Acts by Derek J. Snow. Directed by Piper Davis. Orchestration composed by Jimmie A. Parker. Image designed and painted by the incomparable . Sound design by Tom Peters.

I've been working hard, so I apologize for not updating this page. This is huge for MFP! I can now announce that my play, "Silas, the Uninvited" is headlining the Waterworks Festival in Virginia next month! I am overwhelmed with gratitude to the folks at Live Arts at the Gibson Theatre who have supported the work from day one. They never wavered. Out of 50 plays, they thought that mine deserved this honor. Still can't wrap my mind around it. Sorry if it's been hard to reach me. It's the discipline and the focus for me.
