Making way for something new! 🏗️ After years of preparation, Mt Airy CURE—in partnership with the City of Cincinnati and The Port—is officially clearing the Gateway site at the southeast corner of Colerain and North Bend.

Step one is removing these dilapidated buildings to pave the way for future development. We’ve heard you loud and clear: this important corner needs a unique anchor that serves the community. We are currently interviewing potential development partners to make that vision a reality.

Hey Trailfest Friends! For a scenic start to the fun, why not park a bit further out and take a short hike through the woods to get to the event? 

You can find trailheads for both the Colerain and Ponderosa Trails not far from Everybody's Treehouse, and there's plenty of parking available along Oak Ridge Rd. It's only about a 3/4 mile hike either way, and it's a great way to kick things off!

TrailFest in Mt. Airy is proud to announce its largest raffle to date, offering an impressive selection of items including top-of-the-line outdoor gear, exquisite handmade craft items, brewery baskets, complimentary outdoor travel opportunities, and numerous gift cards. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, supporting the upkeep of the city's top-ranked park system. The generosity of our donors will also enable Trailfest to continue expanding as a premier outdoor event. Trailfest will have an expanded craft area with many talented artists hawking their nature-themed creations. Among our craft vendors will be My Nature Craftings, Classy Shark, A Touch of Daneen, Stepher Doodles, Tony's Nature Trinkets, ACE Family Creations and LuAnns Boutique.

You can also participate in our volunteer led craft zone with lots of supplies for you to make your own special eco-art piece. 🎨🖌️🌿💚🎉 There will also be some awesome craft pieces to be won at our biggest ever raffle.

Trailfest is a fun event for kids of all ages! So many exciting features and activities are planned.
Pet a goat, cook some smores, get your face painted, blow some giant bubbles, paint a gourd, play some corn hole, have a popsicle, go on a discovery hike plus so much more!

Be sure to arrive by 1150am for special educational panel discussion titled “Connecting Young Children to Nature” followed by a fun nature hike into the woods.

Orienteering - Another fun outdoor activity available at Trailfest 2025! 🌳🏞️ Orienteering is an outdoor adventure sport in which participants use a detailed map to find their own way to a series of checkpoints within the park. Visitors to Trailfest will have the opportunity to learn about orienteering and try a short course in the forest. Orienteering Cincinnati offers events throughout the year in various parks throughout the area. There are always courses of different lengths and difficulty levels to accommodate orienteers of a wide range of ages and abilities. 🏃‍♀️🌟🎉
