Black Buggy Day SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2026, GUY WILLIAMS PARK, CHOUTEAU Black Buggy Day began in 2002 as a festival to promote the town of Chouteau.

What makes Chouteau different from other communities in our area is the Amish population. Our town motto says it all, ”Where Cultures Come Together”. Chouteau consists of two different cultures coming together with one purpose, to make a better community for our families to live and grow. Black Buggy Day is a day where we come together to celebrate the ways we are different but more importantly, the ways that we are the same. Are you ready for Saturday, September 19th??? Black Buggy Day and Pickin’ the Line on Hwy 69 are coming together again and that means our hometown will be hosting lots of visitors! The Chamber of Commerce is ready to support our local businesses with the Chouteau PIckin’ Passport! Get your passport. Explore participating shops. Turn completed passport in at the BBD info Booth. Get prizes. Have fun exploring our town!
