Black Buggy Day SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2025, GUY WILLIAMS PARK, CHOUTEAU Black Buggy Day began in 2002 as a festival to promote the town of Chouteau.

What makes Chouteau different from other communities in our area is the Amish population. Our town motto says it all, ”Where Cultures Come Together”. Chouteau consists of two different cultures coming together with one purpose, to make a better community for our families to live and grow. Despite a rainy start BBD proved to be a great day! Thank you to everyone who came out. We hoped you enjoyed the day and we look forward to seeing you again. Don’t stay away too long. Chouteau has plenty of great things to offer year round from delicious unique restaurants, antique malls to browse and buy, and a beautiful park to enjoy a beautiful day. Look for info on these exciting events that are coming soon.

October 25-Trunk or Treat on Main. One of the biggest, best Halloween events in the county!

December 8th- Christmas Parade and Goose Grab. Our annual christmas celebration. Get pictures and candy with Santa! Plus a chance to win great prizes in the Goose Grab!
