We have a high-quality Wednesday planned for y'all.

Keeping It Light Trivia is back at it tonight from 7 - 9pm for some game night fun. The Keeping It Light crew does it the ol' fashioned way, with pencil & paper. Gives you a great excuse to put down that cell phone for a spell. Round up a squad and see how you stack up.

Don't want to cook tonight? We have LittleBoy Kitchen food truck here to take care of everything. They'll be offering gourmet tacos & more. I'll be having the Quesabirria Tacos, like always. Serving from 4 - 8pm.

The Chisago Lakes Homebrew Club has their monthly meeting this evening. Question: Do you have a passion for making and/or drinking craft b**r? Are you interested in finding out what home brewing is all about? Then come join other brewers at the meeting. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, share a b**r, share some knowledge, and hang out with others who have a passion for craft brewing. The meeting is in the Barrel Room and goes from 7 - 9pm. Everyone is welcome.

Looks like this week will be more "on brand" as far as weather goes. Time to break out the hoodies.

Come check out AleccollinsMusic when he returns to play another show at the Loon on Thursday. Alec is a young, up and coming folk artist from the Twin Cities. His self-described genre is Narrative, Indie, & Folk with an acoustic vibe featuring heartfelt & meaningful lyrics.

We'll have 3 food trucks over 4 days. LittleBoy Kitchen will be here Wednesday and Friday. Grandpa Mike's Pizza Rig is scheduled on Thursday. Saturday brings Smugpugtruck to the brewery. Great choices!

Wednesday, Keeping It Light Trivia will be hosting another installment of trivia night. We'll be ditching the technology and going old school with paper and pencil. I, for one, welcome this change and look forward to having 2 hours less of screen time every other week. Come down, check it out and see what you think.

Friday, we have Line Dancing Class hosted by Sheryl Baker & River City Dance/Cloggers. Come enjoy a social night out learning fun, easy to learn line dances.
Beginner Line Dances - 6:30 to 7:15pm
Intermediate Line Dances - 7:15 to 8:00pm
$10 per person. Classes open to everyone, no experience needed.

Paul is a member of the "Power Trip Morning Show" while Common hosts the "Common Man Progrum". Sauce has been with the Fan for 20+ years while Common started on the all sports powerhouse in 1993."

This week's Food Truck Friday has flavors of the ocean.

🦞We have REBEL Lobster food truck here today. They'll be serving up a myriad of different styles of Lobster Rolls, along with the Lobster Mac & Cheese and maybe a take-home lobster pizza. Check their socials for more details. Serving 4 - 8pm.

Every time they're here, we confirm that rumor that b**r goes great with lobster. Good thing we make b**r. I would personally recommend pairing our Bliss, a Lemongrass Ginger Kölsch with your meal. The lemongrass and hint of ginger will complement the flavors of lobster, much like squeezing a lemon over the top. We're thrilled to announce our new Artist of the Month for October and November - the talented photographer Brenda Kaeding! 📸 Her stunning photos are currently on display in our taproom, and we invite you to stop by and admire her work. You'll have the opportunity to meet Brenda in person at our Meet & Greet event on October 14th from 6 - 8pm. This is a fantastic chance to learn more about her inspiration, creative process, and passion for photography.

Did you know that Brenda is a retired teacher with a passion for travel, especially Norway? She's always on the lookout for unique and unusual shots, whether it's in her Minnesota backyard, on any ocean beach, or a mountain overlooking a fjord. Her photography style is all about capturing the beauty of nature and the world around us. We're honored to have her work showcased in our taproom, and we can't wait for you to see it!
