We have now entered the month for spooky season! Does just thinking about hosting a College kid make you scared? Let me assure you, it isn’t scary at all! In fact it is very rewarding! They just become an addition to your family. If you are interested in hosting this 2027 season, please fill out this survey https://forms.gle/sxnET8ieKA4dXBM29
We already have 8 beds found but have a long way to go to be able to build a strong team. Without beds we don’t have players and without players we don’t have a Mudcat season. Help us keep the Mudcats alive!

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This month is about more than wearing pink—it’s about awareness, education, and taking care of your health. 💗

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, but early detection can make a difference. Knowing what is normal for you and paying attention to changes in your breasts is important.

Some signs to be aware of include:
🎀 A new lump or thickening in the breast or underarm
🎀 Changes in breast size or shape
🎀 Changes in the skin, such as dimpling or irritation
🎀 Ni**le changes or unexpected discharge
🎀 A change in the appearance or direction of the ni**le

Regular screening recommendations can vary based on your age, personal risk, and family history, so talk with your healthcare provider about what screening schedule is right for you.

This October, wear pink, spread awareness, encourage the women in your life to prioritize their health, and remember that early detection matters. 💗

💥WELCOME BACK TO CHILLICOTHE, JARED FRY! ⚾️

We’re excited to announce that Jared Fry will be leading the Chillicothe Mudcats for the 2027 season!

Fry is no stranger to Chillicothe, having played for the Mudcats in 2018 and previously worked alongside former Mudcats head coach Tyler Hudlow in 2025.

He brings a strong coaching background, most recently coaching at Southwest Minnesota State University, along with experience at North Central Missouri College and Highland Community College.

Fry also played collegiate baseball at North Central Missouri, Chowan University, and Avila University before spending four seasons playing independent professional baseball.

“I am very excited to be in Chillicothe this coming summer. I was lucky to have a great experience as a player and assistant coach with the Mudcats, and I’m looking forward to being a part of the great things that have been happening for the team.”

Welcome back to the Mudcats family, Jared! We can’t wait for 2027! 🐾⚾️
